Jet skiers saved 100 people trapped in flooded homes in the Bahamas

(CNN)Waters rose, beating against the house as a family of three hunkered on the second floor. Hour by hour, they checked the staircase to see how many steps had been lost to the water. The jet skis could not carry the weight of the three rescuers and the family of three. After capsizing twice, Pintard stayed behind, able to float over to a spot where he could stand. When the jet skis came back for Pintard, the family saw the scope of the rescue missions on the island of Grand Bahama, which was ravaged by the hurricane.
